This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Classroom iPads!

Help me to give my students a better learning experience by using exciting new technology.

They come from a low-socioeconomic background and strive to overcome and exceed their obstacles.

My school is a Title I elementary school where the majority of the students receive free or reduced lunch. My students face so many challenges outside of school, such as lack of resources at home to complete simple homework. However, when they step into my classroom their world changes because they feel secure.

My students love to go to the computer center but the computer desktops that they use are coming apart. I would love for you to help us overcome this technological challenge.

My Project

We are living in an era fueled by new technological advances and the ability to use technology is crucial for all our students. These iPads will definitively help my students learn about new technology uses.

The students will be able to use iPads in order to access reading and math programs among other sites and educational apps.

Listening to stories and recording their own stories with the iPads will increase their reading fluency and comprehension in general.

These iPads will help focus on individualized students needs and at the same time provide real-time data on content learned.
