My Students

Teaching at my school is not always an easy task. Being a Title 1 school, my students do not get the opportunities to have new experiences that allow them to explore the world. Exploring the world is a very important task of educating the child. And being able to educate our students is the goal. Also, being able to leave their community can help with their view of the world.

My students have extraordinary lives as they are faced with various obstacles and challenges.

However, they find time to be involved in extracurricular activities and sports at the school, take care of relatives and your siblings. This is why these students need the best that education can offer them. Being a Title 1 school we provide them with breakfast, lunch and snack and its time to do the same with their education.

My Project

Having technology such as laptops or tablets in the classroom is great for the students. I know that it will keep them engaged in the various lessons and activities. With these new laptops, my students can work on programs such as IXL to help focus on their skills for social studies class. Technology allows me to focus on each student as I assist them in gaining the 21st-century skills needed in the coming years for my students. It's sad that students who attend Title 1 schools seem to get left behind or forgotten about and our students miss out on opportunities especially when its time to upgrade or buy technology. Students must remain mindful because it was through generous donations that a goal like this is possible and there are people who do not mind helping their future. My students understand that the generosity of great people is not a myth and they know how to be appreciative of the items being donated. These laptops will be used to improve the literacy of our students.

By donating to my classroom project, you will be impacting the life of a student with literacy through technology.

When students are engaged, more focus is on the assignment along with interaction with the teacher. In return, this will help boost test scores. Students will be more organized because all of their work will be kept in one spot for them. Also, technology has the power to encourage our students to increase their literacy and new technology.
