Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students utilize teacher created resources to meet the needs of I.E.P goals and student specific goals. These resources are created using velcro dots, velcro strips and laminating sheets to ensure reuse. We are practicing our drawing and writing skills and are in need of a pencil sharpener. Our pencils are triangular and oversized and the sharpener on our list will meet the need of the room. Our students thrive with visual cues and visual timers. The large timer will provide easy transitioning for students throughout the day. The smaller timers will be used during our mindfulness time to demonstrate 5 minute mind and body breaks. The additional 20 minute timer will be used for students in small groups to ease transition and demonstrate time left to complete the given task. We are in desperate need of facial tissue during our cold/flu season. To keep our classroom clean and sanitized we also need paper towel rolls.
