My Students

Hello! I teach in a K-2 school with approximately 1,000 students. Our school has a diverse population of students. My students are smart, enthusiastic, creative, hardworking, eager, and respectful. My classroom consists of students from all different backgrounds. I have high functioning students, low functioning students, and ELL students. My school offers reading and math interventions to aid struggling learners in their educational success.

I am dedicated to my students.

It is my goal to provide an inviting, nurturing, and warm classroom where each student feels comfortable.

Our school does not receive Title I funding. Thus, the technology and resources in my classroom are limited. Most of my resources are supplied by either myself or through parent donations. The environment provided by the administration, teachers, and staff is inviting and nurturing. We are dedicated to meeting the needs of each student that walks through the doors.

My Project

For this project I am asking for donations to purchase basic classroom supplies such as folders and pencil sharpeners, desk pets to be used for classroom incentives to aid with classroom behavior, books, and supplies to incorporate room transformations into everyday learning.

I strive to make learning in my classroom fun!

For many of my students, this is their 3rd school year that has been impacted by the world wide pandemic. I don't want students to have a bad taste in their mouth about school so I love to incorporate things to make learning fun. I do this by suppling things for the students to keep after room transformation.

For this project I am also asking for more "desk pets". I use "desk pets" as incentives in my classroom for having good behavior. My students are very motivated by these. Lastly, I am asking for basic school supplies like pencil sharpeners, folders, and teacher books for read alouds.
