My Students

My students go to school in a low, socio-economic, high poverty area. They are constantly facing many challenges both in school and at home. Despite the circumstances my students face, they are always ready and eager to learn.

My goal with these projects is to provide my students with opportunities and materials that they might not otherwise get.

The materials that are purchased through DonorsChoose is a huge help to my classroom and to my students.

My Project

These items are going to make a huge impact in my classroom. All of the learning posters that are up in my room are hand-made. The Mr. Sketch markers will allow me to give them bright and colorful posters to look at and learn from. Paper is a high priority in the classroom. We are in constant need of making copies for the students to complete their work. I have a number of book sets for the students to read, the storage containers will allow me to keep those books together so that they are easy access for the students.

While the students may not be directly using these supplies, they will allow me to provide my students with everything they need to be successful in their education.
