Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are from a Title One School we are located in a low income neighborhood. They are eager to learn but lack the necessary supplies. School starts in August and parents struggle to purchase supplies or even uniforms.

My students are hungry not for food but for knowledge.

They come to school with hopes and dreams. I want to enchance their dreams by increasing their knowledge. Fifth grade is a crossroads for my students as they are on their way to middle school. My students enjoy working on workstations.

My Project

My project will help us keep our thoughts and notes organize. The tape and glue are crucial materials we need. We use them to post notes on our journals daily. Manila folders are needed to keep our assignments organized. Mechanical pencils I use as gifts to treat my students when they do something good. Binders clips and tape I use to keep my classroom nice and organize after I grade assignments. I teach three classes and my biggest issue is trying to keep my classroom organize. I am requesting items that will help stay up to date. Keeping my classroom organized will help my students stay organized as well.
