My Students

A typical day in our classroom involves rigorous learning. We are working on math, reading, writing, and social studies. The biggest struggle in our classroom is getting the students to stay focused on the task at hand. Our classroom quote is "always try your best".

We have twelve students in our classroom.

My students are racially and culturally diverse. Many of them come from low income families, which makes it difficult for their parents to buy school supplies for them. My students are very outgoing, and enthusiastic. Our classroom is a very bright, inviting environment, as well as our school building. Our class and school promotes teamwork, and making great things happen.

My Project

The items I have requested are supplies for our classroom. We need markers for the students, and myself as well. The students are constantly working on group projects that require making posters and charts. Think for our printer will be used to print out graphic organizers to assist the students while they are doing their work. We need magnets to hang charts around the room that the students will refer back to when doing their work. Last, we can use the bins to store our belongings and keep ourselves more organized. Papers are constantly being misplaced in our room.

The donations from this project will improve our classroom by giving us the basic supplies we use on a daily basis.

My students have a hard time bringing in supplies due to their financial situations. As their teacher I provide as much as I possibly can. The students will be able to keep themselves more organized, and have the resources they need to complete their daily activities.
