Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Every morning we start off the day with a chant. "Are you set?" Teacher says. Students reply, "You bet!" At the end of the school year, I want my scholars to be mathematicians. My biggest challenge is supplying my students with supplies and resources.

My students are strong willing and capable of succeeding in anything they set their mind to.

We are located in a low income neighborhood, my school is a Title I school. My scholars are eager to learn and become experts in math. My students need supplies and resources that I can't afford to provided at all times.

My Project

I envision these resources being used in my classroom daily. Pencils, compositions books, Post-It notes, and a stapler are all needed for my students' math interacting journal. Scholars need hands-on activities such as foldables to interact and grow as mathematicians.

These donations will improve my classroom tremendously.

At this time, I only have one stapler and it would benefit my classroom to have one stapler per table. I have my students grouped in six tables and we to rotate my one stapler. Having the necessary supplies it would improve our time management. Time management is key to improve our math skills.
