Classroom Supplies to Prepare for Next Level Learning

Help me give my students basic classroom supplies that they are not all able to provide for themselves to aid in completing assignments. I am also requesting tools that will allow me to get them ready for STAAR.

My Students

During my time as a student teacher, my students were very supportive and excited to have me in their classroom. They are eager learners, full of personality, drive, and passion to be the best they can be.

I am excited to be able to teach them once again during this school year on a full-time basis.

The last two years have been challenging for them with so many changes, but they continue to show they are ready to learn and grow.

My students are talented givers. They give of their talents to show their appreciation, and I want to do everything in my power to give the best learning resources back to them.

My Project

Now that I have a grasp on the needs of my students, these requested items are supplies that will play an instrumental part in making sure my students have all the essential learning tools they need to aid in their learning.

As we move on into the next semester and prepare for state testing, I want to make sure our classroom is set up and stocked up for success.

These supplies will be used to encourage learning at all levels and will help me focus on making sure my students have everything they need for a great year. As a new teacher, I don’t yet have the resources that experienced educators have. The Teachers Pay Teacher gift card will allow me to find and fund assignments for my classroom that I will be able to use for many years to come. As a Language Arts/Reading/Writing teacher, the Learning Resources, games, and posters will allow my students the opportunity to have fun while learning and will help me set up an effective classroom. I also need basic supplies that students need, but some families may not be able to afford them. I realize that teaching at a Title I school where most students come from low-income families will bring its challenges. But, I will not let that stop me. I plan to show them that they can achieve and become whatever they put their minds to.
