My Project

As we get to a critical point in the school year, these general supplies are necessary to fulfill the success of all students in our ICT STEAM classroom. As teaching under a project-based model, having all the materials to satisfy the low-floor/high-ceiling where every student contributes and demonstrates academic growth through discovery and application is essential. These materials here, from colored ink to fidgets, help lower barriers that some students have with the traditional learning models, as well as help boost engagement for all students. Through this engagement, it helps boost student performance across the board. This in turn helps amplify student voices who have been traditionally absent from conversations about climate and resilience, especially here in Brooklyn.
