This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We need to restock essential materials in this classroom to ensure that students continue being productive, especially in a busy stretch of the school year. This time of year is a grind and I am beginning to see a low stock of certain materials.

I am always reminded that my students are in constant need of some materials for class.

My students have used pencils, and pens, and I want to make sure there is still enough for them to have and use.

Students are in need of writing materials like pens and pencils that they can borrow, or even keep if they truly need it for other classes. We need white-out for those who use pens. Highlighters will be useful for reading. Hand sanitizer and wipes are essential to maintaining a sanitary classroom, and are things that students have actually requested to have in their classroom. Some of these items were popular with my students so I would like to restock and continue having them available for my students. I am also including some items that students can utilize on down time as the school year ends like some card games and markers for those who are creative and maybe encourage others to come up with creative work. We have state testing coming up soon, and there will be some significant down time, so these materials will also not only help them with the test, but keep them busy in their downtime.
