My Students

My 6th, 7th, and 8th-grade math students are making super strides in their studies of STEM. We entered the school in September enthusiastically, and are approaching the midpoint of our year. We arrived at the school representing many nations and backgrounds, each of us bringing a unique set of experiences to the classroom.

We would like to continue our studies with the same enthusiasm and inspiration that we came with in the beginning of the year.

As I work in a high poverty school, basic supplies are often difficult to come by. My students have started the year in a strong fashion, though require some reinvestment to keep up their studies.

My Project

We are rapidly approaching the midway point of our academic year! We are in a unique place where we are no longer heading into our grade, though proudly marching onto the next level. Unfortunately this is a time when our notebook covers begin to tear, our once-new pencils begin to dull or disappear, and our school supplies supply dwindles asymptotically towards zero.

Our big goal is to start strong and finish strong!

The importance of finishing strong is paramount to maintaining an inner voice that will pull us towards a positive future. We are humbly requesting a reinvestment in basic school supplies that will contribute to a positive classroom environment. New pencils, tape dispensers, and a new clock will ensure that students feel well supported and will in turn boldly march with heads held high into their next academic year.
