Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Many students face problems in and out of the classroom that are completely out of their control which usually results in an inability to have basic school supplies that are essential to their learning. It is so important for me to provide my students with basic supplies such as pencils, markers, disinfecting wipes, pens and organizational materials to guarantee their success in school.

The cleanliness of the classroom is now left to teachers who must ensure that students feel safe and comfortable in a learning environment that is kept clean.

The children at my school are known for being curious, hardworking, and sweet. I am extremely excited for another school year at a North Philadelphia public school dedicated to inspiring children to become the best versions of themselves through learning.

All of my students come from low-income households, and they do not have access to a lot of resources, so I would love to create a classroom that drives their curiosities and encourages them to push themselves in the face of adversities. Any donations that are made will help create a beautiful and clean space for my students to learn. My students deserve to be given the best education possible. By donating you can help me achieve that!

These basic classroom supplies will allow students to start the year with essential tools for learning in an organized classroom and will help make sure that each student has exactly what they need.

My hope is to provide each student with a pencil case filled with necessary tools, folders to stay organized, and cleaning supplies to keep our classroom clean.
