My Students

My incredible group of fifth graders are bright, confident, and lifelong learners. Testing into NEST+m, these students from all five boroughs are eager, dedicated, and motivated to improve their academic skills and social and emotional growth. They yearn to become the best versions of themselves in the classroom and the real world, and are undoubtedly the kindest, most genuine, and excitable kids I have ever met. NEST+m grade five students come from diverse backgrounds, social settings, and economic resources, but come with a common goal of gaining the most out of the school day. Their desire to learn is mature beyond their years and I am excited to begin the school year with these amazing group of individuals.

My Project

Too often students feel a sense of nervousness and anxiety when taking assessments. Allowing them a safe space that is personal and individualized will help to ease their nerves and create a calming place for them to do their best. By reducing distractions, students can continue to demonstrate their skills in a relaxed and positive environment. This is especially the case for students with learning disabilities or differences. An ideal testing environment will ensure a setting in which all students can thrive and succeed. I thank you so much for your support.
