My Project

My students are incredible, hardworking, and full of potential, but they face daily challenges that many of us take for granted. As a Title 1 school, many of our families struggle to provide even the most basic school supplies. Despite these obstacles, my students show up every day eager to learn and grow. However, without essential supplies like pencils, Expo markers, eraser caps, and spiral notebooks, it becomes difficult for them to fully engage in their learning. A sharpened pencil allows them to work through math problems and express their thoughts in writing. Expo markers make learning interactive and engaging as students work together at the whiteboard, solving problems and sharing ideas. Eraser caps help students feel confident, knowing that mistakes are just part of the learning process. Spiral notebooks provide a space for students to organize their thoughts, track their progress, and take pride in their work.
