My Project

The majority of my students come from low-income homes. They come to school at the beginning of the year with little to no supplies. I don't think it is right to ask their families to provide these supplies via a school supply list, putting an additional financial burden on them. This project will allow me to give every student in my class basic supplies, like crayons, glue, individual expo markers, erasers, and a pencil case.

This helps tremendously because each student will have all the materials they need to be successful, so they can focus on learning.

This takes a lot of stress off of both the students and me.

Additionally, this project provides STEM activities for students to complete, birthday bracelets to help celebrate their birthday, tooth necklaces for when they lose a tooth, and prize box toys to reward positive behavior! These items will all promote a positive classroom environment.

This project will give our classroom items needed to stay healthy and germ-free, like cleaning spray and brooms.
