My Project

My project will help out all of my students who do not have the means to go out and buy supplies that will make them successful in my classroom this year.

Almost 90% of my students come from single parent households or are currently homeless, and are not able to go out and buy the supplies needed to be successful in the classroom.

Students will benefit from having chart paper for projects, laminating materials, cleaning supplies, and lights for the classroom. The printer ink and copy paper goes a long way for my students who do not have the ability to print their assignments out at home and to be able to do this in class will be instrumental in their success. The various classroom cleaning supplies and hand sanitizer are so our classroom can stay healthy . I also am asking for classroom staples that are always in need, such as notebooks, pencils, copy paper, Expo dry erase markers, paper towels, tissues, command strips, staples, post-it notes, colored pencils, tape, Sharpie markers, highlighters, construction paper, index cards which will be used in all of our academic lessons, which will allow all of my students to participate and not worry about where their supplies will come from. I am also in need of a table and chair to help my students feel comfortable and welcome in my classroom during one-on-one check-ins, student-teacher conferences, and will also be used as a point place in my classroom where I can give my students help with their assignments when the need arises.

My goal for this project is to be able to take the worry and anxiety from those of my students and their families who are not able to provide the needed materials for class. Your generosity makes this possible!
