Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In our classroom, we strive to create a motivating environment that encourages students to excel in both behavior and academics through a unique ticket system. By consistently demonstrating positive behavior and a strong work ethic, students can earn tickets that serve as a recognition of their efforts. These tickets can be exchanged for items like pencils and squishy toys in our classroom store every nine weeks, allowing students to enjoy the rewards of their hard work while learning valuable lessons about saving and decision-making. Additionally, we enhance motivation with a weekly drawing for exciting prizes, introducing an element of surprise that keeps students engaged. This approach not only fosters a positive atmosphere but also instills essential life skills such as responsibility and persistence, making the educational experience both rewarding and enjoyable.
