Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The materials will be used for the student store. The students are earning money for good or above and beyond behavior. They will be able to buy new classroom tools or little toys. This started because they were not taking care of their classroom supplies.

The students are able to use the money that they earn to purchase items such as new crayons, markers or colored pencils.

My goal is to teach them to be responsible to for their own materials. I am also hoping this will help with the behavioral issues I am having in the class. This will give them something positive to work for.

My students are a great group of kids who want to learn, and try their best. Many of them are low income and English language learners.
