My Project

I would like to give my 4th graders the opportunity to learn responsibility and Financial Literacy through earning classroom money. We will use the paper and ink to print classroom bucks. The boxes will be used to store our money and incentives. Pencils and building blocks can be purchased by the students.

Experts say that letting children earn money, even play money, through real life experiences, is a great opportunity to teach financial literacy.

Children who get hands-on experience when it comes to saving, spending, and managing money will have a better understanding of the value of money.
