My Project

My classroom is set up as an economy. My students receive money (piggy bucks) for positive behaviors and can purchase items in our classroom store. One item my students are wanting to purchase is "Make a Hat."

The Cricut Hat Press will make a difference in my students' learning through financial literacy.

For example, to "Make a Hat" they will earn money and learn how save it. They will also learn the concepts of counting money, spending, making change, and how much change they should get back.

The Cricut Press will also teach my students spatial awareness. Spatial awareness is thinking about objects in different spatially oriented ways. As they place their objects on top of the hat they will do mental rotations in their head, visualize objects from different perspectives, and coordinate how different space is used in relation to other space.

I want my students to have fun in school while learning. This Cricut Press will provide that for them!
