My Students

Our school serves at-risk students in southern Illinois. Most of our students come from low-income families. We provide a supportive environment for them to overcome the challenges they have faced. These are students who, many times, haven't felt like they fit in at a traditional school. We give them a place to call home.

Our kids are resilient.

My Project

Our school provides all the necessary supplies for our students. So, the mechanical pencils will be used to hand out to each student for them to use to do their work. Our rooms have tables instead of desks so the trays will be used to help students keep their materials in order and separated on the tables. The storage will be used for art supplies for our brand new art classes. It will help us keep everything organized and it will easily accessible.

These supplies will really help the students stay organized.
