This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

As a first year teacher , I wasn’t sure what to expect from my kids this year . I know these kids have been through difficult unprecedented times at such a short age. Well, let me brag here fir a second and tell you I have been delightfully surprised to see these bright , eager, and kind children. They are eager to help one another and share their love and time helping others. We are in need of materials to get our academic goals of reaching 5th grade and thrive in our learning as we continue to navigate these unprecedented times.

My Project

We can’t wait to get our classroom organized and ready to create a safe learning environment. These materials will help create a fun and flexible learning environment for our students. We will incorporate picture books in our lessons to teach about a collaborative classroom , and our growth beyond academics. Our class will also learn about many ELA lessons specifically through various learning methods including , charts, specialized groups , and different learning environments. Some of the materials listed in this project are for initial classroom setup , decor and resources.
