Classroom Snacks

Help me give my students incentives to complete their assignments on time and increase in-class participation. My students are often motivated by snacks, and I'm hoping this increases participation.

My Project

Often students will ask for snacks in class, and I try to provide them monthly, but they do get expense on my own. I try to prompt the students to finish their assignments or to turn in missing work, and then I reward them with the snack they requested.

Last year, for the month of October, I provided candy if students successfully completed their weekly warm-ups during the stamp check.

My students participation for that month increased by about 15% when I did this. So I am hoping to repeat that pattern.
