This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As the beginning of the year approaches, I'm looking to purchase some basics for our music classroom that would benefit all 400+ students I teach. To create space for movement and dance in our music room, I use velcro spots on the carpet for seats. We're in need of some new spots to replace our current ones.

Our classroom has no windows, which can be difficult for my students during the day- we live in sunny Phoenix!

I'm hoping to purchase a lamp and some wall lights to create a more fun and relaxing space for my students.

This project includes some other basics for the beginning of the year like magnets, pens and push pins.
