My Project

Throughout the year, my students have really enjoyed comfortable seating in our classroom library and calm down corner. This area is the focal point of our classroom and having better seating will elevate this area and allow students to continue building community with one another.

Recently, my teacher chair became broken and students will often choose the “teachers chair” as a reward option for positive behavior.

We are requesting donations for an office chair for myself and for the students to sit on as a reward. The students absolutely love this reward as they can act as a teacher for the day.

Lastly, the students name tags continue to come off their desk and it would really be nice to have name tag desk display trays to keep everything organized for my students and their names can be easily visible to other staff members and parents that come into our classroom.

I really feel that these items can really enhance our student experience in first grade and will help with our overall learning experience in the classroom.

My goal for this project is to increase the community and well being of my students. Through new lounge seating and better name tags for their desk. I believe this will be so beneficial for my students.

My students are so special and so deserving! They work hard everyday and they love to learn. These items will put a huge smile on each child’s face!
