Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My 4th graders are eager and energetic to learn! Almost all of my students live at or below the poverty level and sometimes they don’t get the necessities they need to thrive. My students may not have the consistency or routine they need in their home lives. As their teacher, I believe it is my job to ensure they receive consistency in school.

My Project

As we are almost near the middle of the school year some of our school supplies have been depleted. In my classroom we print out google slides for every student this allows students to refer back if help is needed. So we would make sure we have enough copy paper that all student receive their google slides. Pencils are also something students need all the rime. Our pencils run out so often, so we want to make sure all students receive enough pencils that students could use in the building and at home. Markers are what we use daily for our anchor charts and dry erase boards for all lessons.
