My Project

I work with a group of second grade learning support students who really need a new classroom rug that allows them to have their own space while learning. My students love to come to the carpet to learn instead of always having to sit at their desk. Coming to the carpet allows them to be closer to instruction, the teacher, and be able to stretch their legs! I have a student who is wheelchair bound that loves to get out to stretch his legs and muscles! Our current classroom rug is tiny and does not allow enough space for all of my students to utilize the area.

This would really help create better learning experiences for my students because the carpet is the heart of the classroom and makes it feel a little more like home!

My students don't all fit on my current carpet so this is a must have for our classroom. It will allow them to come together as a class to learn and allow them to get up out of their seats!
