Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My classroom currently does not have a rug, and it would be nice to have one for read alouds where the students can sit while I read. This will help with the students having enough space to move around and listen. Also, this will give the students a different way of instruction instead of just in their seats which could cause the students to be bored or disengaged. The rug is also a congregating spot and can be something all the students enjoy as they know a preferred activity such as reading is will be taking place.
