My Project

Having a beautiful, high quality rug is important in a Montessori classroom. Children spend a lot of time working on the rug together on their language and math works, and need a comfortable and easy-to-clean space. We will also have our group lesson time on the rug.

In addition, our classroom will not have chairs for the students, and instead use pillows for floor seating.

The children will need comfortable and spacious pillows to use while they sit and work. The children will take their work off the shelf, and choose whether they want to sit on a large carpet on the floor, or use a table and sit on alternative seating like a pillow or cushion.

Making a classroom a comfortable, homey environment is important for a primary Montessori class. Thank you for helping to contribute to our success.
