This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I work at a loving school that aims to build students up to their highest potential. I will be in a kindergarten classroom, establishing the foundation of my students' lifetime of learning. I am asking for a classroom rug that displays the alphabet, numbers, and shapes in a large, bright area.

I want to use this rug to create a special area of learning within my classroom that provides my kindergarteners with the opportunity for movement and floor work appropriate to their age and developmental stage.

Kindergarteners thrive when they have the chance to move and play. I want to give them the space to do so with this rug.
