My Project

I love to use incentives and rewards in my classroom! It reinforces the idea of earning something that is of value and it really does work wonders in creating a classroom environment that fosters respect and kindness. They also need ways to organize their work and have it readily accessible.

To make positive changes, students need a clear idea of what positive behavior is and to be positively reinforced when they demonstrate that behavior.

I do this by giving rewards. Many of these rewards are for effort. I do not give rewards for grades and students cannot ask for one.

There are many ways that I give positive reinforcement including praise, private conversations, and activities or privileges. However, the mochis and fidgets have consistently been a favorite.

Of course, all of those prizes are costly. I would love some financial help to continue to offer amazing incentives and help my students realize that doing the right thing pays off!!
