"Don't talk about it, Be about it!" My students are coping daily with our limited classroom space. It is very challenging to engage and involve them in multi-level thinking activities with "hands-on" learning because there isn't much room. I WILL expose them and give them the BEST no matter what!
My students are inquisitive little people with creative spirits and large personalities.
They attend a K-5th grade Charter school in Southeastern Louisiana. Our school strives to produce a community of learners in which academic achievement and personal growth are expected and supported in a positive environment.
The resources that I have requested will impact my students greatly. A microscope was ordered because I love Science and so do my kids. Having a microscope in the classroom to complete activities and experiments will broaden their interests and enlighten them tremendously. They will gain a new perspective of their environment. The geosafari game was a hit when I was in elementary and I think my students will love it. They are so competitive and it will serve as a fun, interactive center to reinforce daily instruction. The zoob blocks will enhance creative play and analytical thinking. This will serve as a great center and tool for educational play. The dry erase boards are really important for student feedback. This tool will help students with working out problems while in groups or class discussion. This will also enhance teacher- student communication. The laminator will benefit the students and myself because it is important that we preserve and cherish our work and accomplishments
Your donations would affect 45 kids this year and many more to come.
These resources would enable kids to explore their world in the microscopic realm, imaginative play and also globally. The microscope and geosafari game would give them some new and exciting tools to enhance their learning. The zoob building blocks will serve as a creative outlet. The dry erase board will enhance student participation. The laminator would enable me to preserve the many cherished assignments and projects to come
