Classroom Refrigerator for Stimulating Science Investigations

Help me give my students consistent results in every period. Some of the chemicals we will be using are temperature sensitive or temperature activated. A classroom refrigerator allows for proper storage of and instant access to these chemicals.

My Project

My school serves students with a 95%+ rate of qualifying for free and reduced price lunches. For many, middle school is their first real experience with science investigations. In 7th grade we focus heavily on physics and chemistry. This can be very exciting for our students and can inspire them to pursue careers in STEM fields, if done well.

Some of the chemicals used in our investigations must be kept cold in order to react correctly during science labs.

But keeping the chemicals at the ideal temperatures throughout the day can be challenging without access to a refrigerator in the classroom.

I want to increase my students' engagement in and love of science by providing exciting science lab opportunities. Vibrant chemical reactions are one of the best and most memorable ways to achieve this goal. So, please, help make this possible for these incredible kids!
