My Project

I am a twenty-five year veteran teacher that desperately needs a classroom library refresh! My goal is to provide engaging and appropriate books for every level of learner in my classroom. Please help me replace my ancient books with new books that my students will enjoy. I chose books that are geared toward various levels and abilities. For example, students with dyslexia will enjoy reading chapter books that have story lines appropriate for fourth graders, but are written with them in mind. Reluctant readers will be drawn to the adventure and sports themed books that I have chosen. I would also like to provide new review games and a standing desk for students who have difficulty sitting and focusing all day long. Help bridge the gap in reading caused by Covid by providing new material for independent reading time and games that will not only build knowledge but also allow for socialization that is much needed since the pandemic.
