Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The materials and supplies that I am requesting are something that my students have been asking for, for a long time. Our 5th-grade classroom is larger than most and is currently lacking a few basics, along with a classroom reading nook suitable for my students. As we reach the end of the year, supplies have run low and are in dire need of replacement. Which is where the soap, paper, candy, and treasure box toys come in. On the other hand, I also wanted to surprise my students and provide my future students with an area they can feel encouraged to read.

With these items, I know that they will spark an interest to dive into the world of literature.

This reading nook will also be another location in our classroom where students can complete assignments in a more comfortable environment. Help me bring the love of reading, and excitement to our classroom!
