Classroom Printer/Copier in Need

Help me give my students an efficient laser printer for individual assignments. As a special education teacher, it is extremely challenging to create individualized learning programs for each student on a daily basis without this.

My Students

Hello! My name is Mr. Kalan. I am a public school special education teacher of a fourth grade, integrated, co-teaching class. Entering the 2020-2021 school year will be my first year teaching 4th grade as a co-teacher to 28 students. I love teaching and I truly bring the passion for learning to work each day!

My students love learning and having fun in the classroom as well.

My students, at times, might appear distracted; yet, this is the nature of their learning disability. I am constantly searching for new, innovative ways to maintain the interest of all my students in everyday learning including using this printer for many skill-based assignments needed to show growth.

My students benefit from my high energy levels and my attentiveness to their individual learning styles. They learn their very best within the confines of a small group and individualized learning setting that works for each student. For those who do not know my teaching style, I am strongly devoted. Whether arriving an upmost of an hour early to school and staying a minimum of two hours after regular school hours, I spend numerous amounts of time planning and preparing for my students.

My Project

My name is Mr. Kalan and I am a special education teacher. This is my first year teaching fourth grade integrated co-teaching setting (co-teaching). Facing teaching a new grade for the first time has faced me with high anxiety about learning a new curriculum and developing new lessons for a new grade for the very first time. On top of that, as a special education teacher, it is extremely challenging to create individualized learning programs for students who are all at different academic levels that will benefit them and enable them to show a tremendous amount of academic growth. The use of this highly efficient printer will enable the necessary materials, lesson plans, and activities to be printed out in a timely manner so that all my students have individualized activities to meet their academic goals. Additionally, by printing out materials and lessons, I will be able to build upon this year's potential successes for many more years in fourth grade. Not only does this highly efficient yield high volume amounts of paper, but it is also the most cost-effective option for the classroom setting. The school printers are often jammed and/or out of ink making the cost of ink almost unaffordable on a monthly basis. With this printer, ink cartridges will be able to last at a minimum of 4 months. In addition to producing high yield individual learning activities, this machine also will allow for on-demand photocopying needs as situations should arise in the classroom.
