Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are from the South Bronx. Most of them are from low-income families. We are a Title I school where they receive free lunch. Many of my students come from families where their parents are non-English speakers. My students are very excited about school. They love to come to school every day and are so eager to learn. They love reading and writing, they love being read to, and they also love hands-on activities.They also have shown so much growth since September.

My Project

I am asking for a printer/copier for my classroom. This item will serve many purposes both for my students and for myself.

My students love to write stories, and it would be great if we could copy and print them to add to our classroom library for other students to read.

My students could type up their stories so that tey look like real books and print out fun and engaging illustrations and cover pages.

A printer in the classroom would be benefivial for me as a teacher so that I can create homework and extra practice for my students also.
