Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

In a classroom filled with 21 6 year-olds, many of them are waiting to be evaluated. We are working through disabilities, behaviors, and the trauma of COVID. After never being in a normal classroom, my students are working very hard to work through the trauma and find the routine of the classroom. But, we are very excited to learn! In this classroom, we are a family that is working on writing our numbers, letters, and much more! Every day, we are excited to learn and get better!

My Project

PPE is very important right now in the classroom as students start to get sick from not being used to socializing and the germs of the classroom. While we are all trying our best to be sanitary, it can be difficult with minimal PPE.

This project will supply students with plexiglass shields between all of my students so that they are not exposed to their partner's germs, Lysol wipes to disinfect their desks, and masks for when theirs break.

Please help me keep my students safe this school year. Thank you!
