My Project

These materials will be the basic supplies necessary for learning. As a first year teacher, I am starting with a blank slate and I want my students to have the essentials for my classroom. Many of my lessons are hands-on activities and require creativity. I want my room to feel welcoming and allow my students to feel excited to come to math! My math class also allows a lot of independent work time and group activities, so I want my students to feel as comfortable as possible. I'm not sure whose idea it was to have students sit at a desk and chair all day, but I want to change that idea.
