My Project

This organizational system will tremendously improve our classroom because students will have instant and easy access to materials. Kindergarten students need the tools for organization to help them become motivated! These storage drawers will be very helpful for organization, especially for their centers and supplies! These organization materials will help us make sure there is a place for all of our supplies!

Donations to this project will make a significant and lasting impact on our classroom efficiency!

The rainbow drawers will be an easy way for students to grab what they need for their guided reading group. The groups are color coded so they will be able to get their colored bin and be ready for reading time. The clear storage drawers will be a great way to store paper and other centers materials. They will be able to get the materials on their own and go sit quietly at their center. Many of our centers require magnets or pocket charts so that students can organize the materials or match the materials. For example, one literacy center is matching a letter to its sound. We have many magnetic boards around the room and just need the magnets to hold up our materials. The step ladder will be helpful so students can use the smartboard in our classroom. It will help them be able to reach the board so that we can use it as an interactive tool for lessons. For example, students can help sort letters or numbers on the board as a class.

By having our supplies within reach, students will gain confidence in their ability to stay organized! I want to teach my kindergarten students how to be organized by giving them ways to effectively use our classroom!
