My Students

Our elementary school is an urban, Title I where a vast majority of my students are eligible for free or reduced-price lunch.

I love teaching my third graders.

These students face many challenges yet come to school every day ready to try their best. My most important role as their teacher at this crucial time in their young lives is to help them develop their sense of self and to learn how to be successful throughout their school career. They are bright, playful, and motivated kids, and I am honored to help them utilize the skills they already have to blossom as 3rd graders.

We are adjusting to classroom life after being virtual for a year and the new technology we are using. There are a lot of new, exciting things and we're ready to make them work!

My Project

We are adjusting well to our return to in-person school, but we need some help adjusting to our new technology. Pre-pandemic, we had about 1 computer per 2-3 students. Now each child has a computer, but nowhere to put them. We are so grateful to be back together physically, but the nature of the classroom has changed and we need some help staying organized in this new environment

These organization items will help protect our new laptops by providing safe storage.

The other items will help us keep physical assignments organized. All of this together will help keep our classroom a pleasant, clean, orderly place. Thank you in advance!
