My Students

My students are a class of 30 Gifted and Talented Second graders. Many of my students come from low-income families and speak second or third languages. They are motivated, inquisitive, and a very hard working group of kids.

We are entering a very uncertain school year.

We will be required to teach in person, but the children will have to alternate between in-person and online learning.

My Project

These items will be used to organize our classroom and enhance learning. I will use the voice amplifier to teach my lessons, as the students might not be able to hear me through my mask. The shelves will be used to house students writing materials. They will be able to see clearly what materials they need and grab them quickly. The hanging wall organizer will organize their cell phones or important documents that need to be sent home. The rolling cart will be used by me to hold all my important materials when I meet with students in small groups or individually.
