Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am a first grade teacher in a low income neighborhood. Since a majority of our time is spent at school in the classroom I like to create a nice and organized environment for my students. I want students to be happy and feel safe.

The folders I am requesting will help with parent communication.

The crayons and books will be used for the beginning of the year activities and first week of school as we discuss building friendships in our classroom. The bulletin board paper and borders will help create a space for student friendly work throughout the year. The hooks and magnetic tape will be used to display anchor charts and posters for students throughout the year. The file folders will be used to sort student work and writing samples.
