Classroom Novels for Diverse Readers!

Help me give my students classroom novels so that they will gain a love for reading.

My Project

I’ve requested some sets of great novels such as “The Outsiders” and “Daniel’s Story”because I want my 10th grader Resource class to learn to love reading!

Most of my Sophmores are reading at a 7th grade level (or lower) and really need the reading practice.

Most of my students do not read on their own at home, and haven’t been taught the value of reading. I’d love to read great class novels with them! Although we have novels at our school, most are too difficult for them.

Many kids are not familiar with The Holocaust and I know they would love “Daniel’s Story” which is a heartbreaking but beautiful story that takes place during The Holocaust.
