Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My 4th grade students are diverse students of varied backgrounds that full of life and curiosity, and eager to learn! They love working together and learning through play. They love hands on activities and tasks that enable them to use what they have learned in the classroom and apply them to real world situations.

Unfortunately, although teachers aim to create and implement lessons that meet students' interests and further their learning, we lack the needed resources.

Often times, students lose interest and excitement in the concepts they are learning due the limited resources available to them.

My Project

These resources will support students to maintain focus in class. Many of our students struggle to stay in their seats and on task during the school day. The bands will enable them to fidget in a manner that is not disruptive to themselves or others. The stamps will aid students in tracking their progress. Teachers will be able to more efficiently date their work with feedback. This will enable students to know how they are improving and track their progress more efficiently. Overall, these products will help students maintain focus and track their academic progress throughout the school year efficiently.
