Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This project will help us set the classroom up so that students feel comfortable in their new learning space. Having a well-organized classroom is what my co-teacher and I strive for. A charging station, cleaning area (vacuum cleaner, broom, and dustpan), fresh pencils in the pencil bin, and boarders to outline the wonderful work that will soon fill our walls are just a few ways we will be utilizing these items. With the proper school supplies and clearly organized stations, we can do so! This project will impact student engagement, motivation, confidence levels, and attitudes towards learning. Any donations to this project would be greatly appreciated and would be making a difference in 40+ students' lives!
