Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My goal for this project is to provide some classroom necessities for my students next year. On this list you will see some toys that I aim to use as STEM aids in class. Students can use the blocks and tangrams as a way to relax while enhancing their critical thinking skills.

I want to put an emphasis on academic vocabulary next year so I have included spiral notebooks that my students can use as an interactive journal.

Academic vocabulary is critical to understanding concepts and making connections between the big ideas of math.

Other items on my list will provide basic necessities like hand sanitizer and tissues since we end up running low on those every year.
