Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students attend a Title I school and are from diverse ethnic/cultural backgrounds, namely Bangladeshi, Chinese, Hispanic, and French. 95% of them are Latino and African American. In my classroom, there are students with a range of disabilities, including intellectual disabilities, emotional disturbance, autism spectrum disorder, and specific learning disabilities.

My students are an adorable, active bunch who come to school each day eager to learn and start their day.

My students need basic classroom supplies to help spark their creativity and keep them engaged. My students will use crayons, copy paper, art and craft supplies, glue sticks and other supplies to keep them engaged on their creative journey for the school year. Many of my parents are struggling financially to provide their children with basic school supplies. Your assistance will be greatly appreciated.
