Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This is a special year for all of our students because this will be their first time experiencing a classroom. These essential classroom items will provide that safe, and warm environment for our little ones. Our goal is to provide a sense of belonging and help build confidence, by making each child feel valued and supported. By this being the first year for many of our students, our desire is to make the transition from home to school as smooth as possible.

These materials can foster emotional intelligence and social skills.

By providing adequate materials, allows the children to express themselves freely while making learning fun. This will help create a supportive and understanding classroom, while laying a strong foundation for lifelong learning. Our classroom focuses on relationship and family. Research shows that a child's ability to learn thrives when family is involved. Family is the essence of a child's life. This is why our cozy area is important. Children can go there if they are missing their parents. Our goal is to build relationships with not only the children, but with the parents as well.
